"Quilting Tomorrow's Heritage Today".......Located just Southeast of Houston, in La Porte on Galveston Bay, we are near NASA and Space Center Houston, the Kemah waterfront and new boardwalk, cruise lines to Mexico, and convenient to Houston-Hobby Airport, and travelers on Interstates 10 and 45.

Selected as one of Quilt Sampler magazine's featured shops in 1997, we are also a long-time participant in the Annual Houston International Quilt Festival. Our 8500+ square feet houses a quilter's paradise of books, notions, patterns, quilt samples, gifts, and classroom, as well as Janome sewing machines and sergers, and selected quality sewing furniture and lighting.

10,000+ bolts of fabric can be found in every nook and cranny in the Happy Room, Rainbow Room, Plaid Room, and Sale Room. We offer a wonderful variety of Blocks of the Month and Quilt Kits, as well as a selection of Jim Shore figurines, original Patterns, and our exclusive sterling Quilter's Bell necklace, designed by owner Sherrie Thomas.

We support 2 Quilting Bees, the $1.00 Buck-A-Block program, Janome Club, Darlene Zimmerman's Clothesline Club, a Machine Embroidery Club, and the Houston Bay Area Chapter of The Applique Society (TAS) - so, you're sure to find something that interests you. Or, you may just want to relax in our library and make a new friend! Come by....the coffee pot is always on!
